The People's alliance PAC helps progressive candidates win elections in Durham. It’s been a part of getting the word out to its members (and Durham votes in general) about progressive candidates for decades, and in recent campaign cycles has become a very good predictor of who will win local elections.

The People’s Alliance PAC endorses candidates at a meeting before each election. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, which will take place beginning at 6 pm at Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on September 5. 𝗜𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗢𝗧𝗘 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟯𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. For students and those experiencing financial hardship, membership is $10. For those who cannot afford membership, it is possible to volunteer at the People’s Alliance instead of paying dues.
